Wilson Borden, CPESC
Founder and CEO
In 1998, Wilson Borden founded Georgia Erosion Control Center, which later became The Erosion Company. Under Wilson’s leadership, TEC has grown into a leading company in its industry. His accomplishments include being named a “Pacesetter” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and listing on the Inc. 500.
Wilson is an active member of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association and the International Erosion Control Association, where he served on the board for eight years. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science from Georgia Tech.
Craig S. Richards
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Craig oversees all aspects of finance, accounting and legal services for TEC. Craig is responsible for the integration of IT applications and Human Resource guidelines as well as OSHA, DOL, and Worker’s Compensation compliance.
A former CEO and general manager of firms ranging from global subsidiaries of Fortune 500 companies to large, regional companies, Craig provides tremendous business insight and experience to TEC. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Michigan State University and earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado.
Darrell joined The Erosion Company in 2005 and is responsible for sales, marketing and customer communications. During his time with TEC, Darrell has developed a systematic approach ensure we meet each customer’s unique needs, enabling TEC to provide an outstanding customer experience and exceptional service.
After starting his career in the United States Marine Corps, Darrell joined Eastman Kodak Co. and later launched his own printing and marketing company. He is a member of the Greater Atlanta HBA and the Council for Quality Growth, as well as a supporter of the Toys for Tots annual charity fundraiser.
